Questions buyers ask
Do I need my own domain?
Connect a domain such as portal.yourbrand.com. HTTPS is set up automatically and the Domains screen shows whether it is connected. Without a verified domain the portal still publishes but is not reachable; the publish panel warns and links to My Domains. Your own domain is on the Professional and Enterprise plans.
Can one customer see another's data?
Lists, detail pages and tiles are filtered on the server so each person sees only rows that match their identity: platform user ID, verified sign-in email, imported phone or source-system record ID. Someone with no matching rows sees an empty list. Records from your own API are requested on the server with the signed-in person's identity filled in; record-detail lookups by URL id rely on your API to authorise.
Do I need a developer?
No. Describe the portal or start from a template, arrange it in the visual designer, connect your data, preview it and publish.
What do templates include?
A ready-made portal with pages, layout and menu already in place: Retailer Portal (RMAs, warranties, invoices), Education Portal, Support Portal, Research Portal, Survey Analytics Portal or a Blank Canvas. Templates come without data connected; you connect each list and tile to your own data.
Can people register themselves?
You choose for each portal. Turn sign-up on or off; new people confirm their email first, then get in automatically or wait on a pending page until an admin approves them.
How do people sign in?
With email and password on your branded login page, or with a sign-in link sent by email. Participants can add a second step with an authenticator app or an SMS code.
Which languages?
When you save, changed page and menu text is translated into English, Français, Español, Deutsch, हिन्दी, Русский and Italiano, and signed-in people choose their language from the header. Public pages show the portal's main language.
What emails go out?
Account confirmation, invitation and sign-in-link emails carry your organisation's name and a link back to your portal, with a small 'Powered by SurveyAnalytica' footer. Password-reset emails currently carry SurveyAnalytica branding. Sign-in and set-password links open on your own portal domain, only if that domain is registered to your account.
Can I import people?
Yes. Add one person or import a CSV with a preview, choose their portal and optionally send each an invite to set a password on your portal. People already on your team are refused, so their team access never changes.
