Learn how to manage contact list distribution, preview campaign events, test with contacts, and monitor live delivery metrics.
The Distribution tab is your command centre for selecting who receives your campaign and when it goes out. From here you can add or remove contact lists, review their contents, schedule the campaign timeline, and — once launched — monitor real-time delivery metrics.
Click the eye icon in the Actions column of any distribution list to open a detailed view of that list. This displays all contacts within the list in a searchable, scrollable popup — useful for verifying you have the right audience before launching.
Click the red ✕ icon in the Actions column. A loading spinner replaces the icon while the removal is processing. Once complete, the list disappears from the table and the total contact count updates automatically.
The collapsible Campaign Timeline section sits above the distribution table. It provides a visual timeline designer where you can arrange, reorder, and schedule individual campaign events across channels. The date range is summarised in the section header.
While a campaign is active, the Cancel Launch button replaces the launch button. Clicking it sends an unpublish request to the server. On success the campaign returns to Draft status and you can resume editing the distribution and timeline.
Once a campaign is launched, the Distribution Progress panel appears below the distribution table. It fetches real-time metrics from the campaign tracker and refreshes automatically every 10 seconds.
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Sent | Total messages dispatched across all channels |
| Delivered | Messages confirmed as delivered to the recipient’s inbox or device |
| Opened | Messages that have been opened or read by the recipient |
| Clicked | Messages where the recipient clicked at least one link |
| Failed | Messages that could not be delivered (bounced, rejected, or errored). Only shown when count is greater than zero. |
Above the distribution table, coloured badges indicate which channels are active in your campaign (e.g. Email, WhatsApp, SMS) along with the total number of contacts that will receive messages through each channel.
Before launching to your full audience, use the Preview & Testing tab to send test messages to a small group of contacts and preview how each channel’s content will appear.
Click the + button to open the contact picker. Select a contact list, then check individual contacts to add as testers. Or switch to the Contact Lists tab to add all contacts from an entire list at once.
Click the info icon next to any test contact to open a popover showing all available fields — name, email, phone, and any custom attributes. The popover anchors to the button and closes when you click elsewhere.
Click the ✕ icon next to a contact to remove them from the test group. The removal takes effect immediately.
Use the Bulk Import button at the bottom of the panel to add many test contacts at once from a file.
The main area displays the Campaign Timeline Designer at the top and an Events table at the bottom. From the events table you can:
The campaign interface provides clear visual feedback whenever data is being loaded or actions are in progress, so you always know the current state.
